Fiction
A fiction book contains a story imagined or invented by its author. Not everything is imaginary, however, since many of the fiction books are based on actual events or people.
Fiction books are arranged alphabetically on the tan shelves in the center portion of the library starting with "A" at the magazine display. The books are arranged according to the first three letters of the author's last name. These books are easily identified because their call numbers contain no numbers, only the first three letters of the author's last name.
